Mississippi Blood Services invites you to spread holiday cheer by giving the gift of life during the “Countdown to Christmas” Holiday Blood Drive, sponsored by PriorityOne Bank. 🎁👕
From Thursday, December 12 through Tuesday, December 24, all blood donors will receive a limited-edition holiday long sleeve T-shirt, courtesy of PriorityOne Bank, when they donate at either our Cleveland, Flowood or Oxford donation centers. And, as an added bonus, MBS is working with our Blood Center Elves; Huey, Louie and Dewey, to make sure all donors stay on the ‘Nice List’ by providing useful tips on donating and educational clips explaining why donating blood is essential to the community. ❤💙💚

To ensure a smooth and safe donation experience, please remember to:
1. Bring a valid ID with you for verification purposes.
2. Make sure you have eaten within the last 4 hours before donating. A balanced meal helps prevent reactions and supports a successful donation.
3. Drink plenty of fluids before and after donating. Proper hydration is crucial for reducing potential reactions and ensuring an adequate blood collection.
