Flowood, MS – March 28, 2025 – YOU ASKED, WE LISTENED! Due to popular demand, Mississippi Blood Services (MBS) is thrilled to announce the extension of its special blood donation event at the Flowood Donation Center! The promotion, originally scheduled to end on March 28, has been extended through Saturday, March 29, 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM—giving more donors the chance to take part in this exciting opportunity!
All blood donors at the Flowood Donation Center will receive a $20 VISA gift card and their choice of a tumbler or a limited edition St. Patrick’s Day t-shirt, just for donating. Plus, some lucky donors will find a hidden $100 Visa gift card inside their tumbler or t-shirt!
“We’ve heard from so many of our loyal donors who were unable to donate earlier in the week due to work commitments, and we wanted to make sure they had another chance to participate,” said Kasey Dickson, Director of Public Relations and MBS. “We’re excited to extend this promotion through Saturday, March 29, to give more people the opportunity to donate and enjoy these fun rewards. As always, the most important reason to give is to help save lives, but we hope this incentive helps encourage even more donations during this critical time.”
The extended event, which runs March 26–29, offers an extra incentive to donate blood. However, the most important reason to give is to ensure there is an adequate blood supply for patients in need. Donors who participate are directly contributing to saving lives in their communities.
