Shed Giveaway with Mississippi Blood Services sponsored by Shiver’s Buildings
Mississippi Blood Services is proud to once again announce it is teaming up with Shiver’s Buildings for the second year in a row to offer one lucky blood donor the chance to win a 12×28 shed in July. Between Monday, July 1, and Wednesday, July 31, all blood product donations will be eligible for a chance to win the shed as a grand prize. Each day, one donor will be selected from the donations collected that day to participate in an onsite key unlocking ceremony to be held at the Shiver’s Buildings location in Yazoo City on Thursday, August 1.
In addition to the grand prize, MBS will also offer $15 Visas on all mobile drives throughout the month to encourage donor participation and increase the blood product inventory for the patients of Mississippi. Kasey Dickson, Director of Public Relations and Marketing, stated: “MS Blood Services is excited to work with Shiver’s Buildings again this year. With our blood product inventory being as critically low as it currently is, summer is the perfect time to generate extra excitement. This exciting promotion couldn’t take place without the 100 percent support from our sponsor, Shiver’s Buildings, and our blood donors who are willing to help other Mississippians, especially in time(s) of need.”
Donors can also qualify for entry by donating at our community blood center(s) in Flowood, Cleveland or Oxford. Walk-ins are always more than welcome, or individuals can log in to our appointment scheduling portal at www.msblood.net to find a time that is most convenient with their schedules.
Which will it be, a “She Shed” or a “Man Cave?” A life-saving blood donation in the month of July will help determine the outcome.
