High School Blood Drive Grant Program
Our high school blood drive grant program is a partnership that helps high schools provide more educational opportunities and resources while saving lives in our community.
How to get a Grant for your school
Schedule a drive at your school with your local Mississippi Blood Services (MBS) representative.
- Collect at least 50 units during this academic year.
- New schools are only required to host one drive per school year the first two years after joining the program.
Grant Details
To qualify, the school must collect at least 50 units during this academic year.
Schools will receive a grant reflective of the total units collected at the drive(s) during one school calendar year.
Grants are as follows:
- Collect 50 - 99 units, Receive $500
- Collect 100 - 199 units, Receive $1,000
- Collect 200 - 299 units, Receive $1,500
- Collect 300 or more units, Receive $2,000
Bonuses Available
- New or lapsed (2 years or more) school bonus (first year only): earn an extra $500
- Increase total units from previous school calendar year: earn an extra $250
- Host more than 2 drives during the school calendar year: earn an extra $250*
