More Time to Give: New Hours at the Flowood Donation Center
Mississippi Blood Services (MBS) is expanding hours at the Flowood Donation Center to make it easier for donors to give blood and help save lives.
Starting Monday, March 30, 2026, the Flowood Donation Center’s new hours will be:
Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Saturday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Sunday: Platelet donations by appointment only, 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM
“These expanded hours allow us to better serve our donors and ensure we can meet the constant demand for blood across Mississippi,” said Kasey Dickson, Director of Marketing and Public Relations at MBS. “Every donation makes a difference, and increased access means more lives can be saved.”
Blood donations are needed every day for trauma care, surgeries, cancer treatments, and patients with chronic illnesses. MBS encourages both new and returning donors to take advantage of the expanded hours and help support Mississippi hospitals.
