Flowood, MS – October 28, 2025 — In honor of National First Responders Day on Tuesday, October 28, Mississippi Blood Services (MBS) is proud to support the dedicated individuals who serve our communities. As a token of appreciation, MBS will provide a $25 VISA gift card to every First Responder who provides a successful blood product donation at our Flowood, Cleveland, and Oxford Donation Centers on that day.
This initiative highlights our gratitude for the selfless efforts of First Responders — including Law Enforcement Members, Firefighters, and EMS/Medical Personnel — who work tirelessly to protect and serve our communities. Blood donations are vital to ensuring hospitals can meet patient needs, especially during emergencies.
