MS Blood Services to Support Mississippi Food Network Canned Food Collection
Cleveland, Flowood, and Oxford, MS – November 1, 2025 – Mississippi Blood Services (MBS) is proud to announce its partnership with the Mississippi Food Network as we launch our annual Holiday Canned Food Drive, running Saturday, November 1 through Friday, November 21, 2025, at the Flowood, Cleveland, and Oxford donation centers.
As the holiday season approaches, many Mississippi families face increased food insecurity. MBS is committed to supporting local communities by encouraging donors to double their impact — giving both blood and food to help neighbors in need. Through this collaboration, the Mississippi Food Network will distribute collected items to families across the state, helping ensure they have meals to enjoy during the holidays.

In support of the Mississippi Food Network initiative, MBS is collecting non-perishable food items such as canned green beans, corn, yams, boxed cornbread or stuffing mix, dry noodles, canned soups and fruits, and other shelf-stable items used in preparing holiday meals.
