Help Save Lives This Weekend
Mississippi Blood Services (MBS) is making an urgent appeal for blood donors as the organization’s blood inventory has reached critically low levels. To meet immediate hospital demand, 500 donors are needed this weekend to help ensure lifesaving blood products remain available for patients across Mississippi.
Donors with A+, A-, B+, B-, O+, and O- blood types are especially encouraged to donate, as these blood types are urgently needed to replenish the red blood cell supply.
To help meet this critical need, Mississippi Blood Services has extended donor center hours this weekend, including special Sunday hours at the Flowood Donor Center and special Saturday hours at the Oxford Donor Center, providing additional opportunities for donors to give.
