Someone’s Tomorrow Starts With You—and Your Donation Could Win a Golf Cart
The holiday season fills calendars with family gatherings, travel, and celebrations. But while schedules get busy, the need for blood never takes a holiday. For Mississippi patients and their families, a donor’s decision to give can mean another birthday, another holiday, or another tomorrow together.
Mississippi Blood Services needs approximately 250 blood donations and 60 platelet donations every day to help meet patient needs across the state. Making time to donate this holiday season can help keep lifesaving care available when it’s needed.
This year, your donation could also put you behind the wheel of a new golf cart.
Mississippi Blood Services is partnering with Woods Equipment to give away a 2026 Kandi Element golf cart, featuring lithium batteries and a touchscreen display with speakers.
Donate November 9–December 18, 2026, at any MBS donor center or mobile blood drive, and you’ll automatically be entered for a chance to win. The winner will be announced December 21.

Along with the giveaway, donors can ask about available Visa gift card incentives.
- Eligible double red cell donors can receive a $50 Visa gift card. Eligible blood types include A+, A−, B+, B−, O+ and O−.
- Platelet donors can receive a $50 Visa gift card.
