November 10–14, 2026 | Flowood & Oxford Donor Centers
For 47 years, Mississippi Blood Services (MBS) has been helping save lives across the state, one blood donation at a time! As we celebrate our 47th birthday on November 14, we’re inviting YOU to join us for a week of donor appreciation, special events, and lifesaving opportunities!
Since November 14, 1979, generous blood donors have made our mission possible. Today, Mississippi Blood Services needs approximately 250 whole blood donations and 60 platelet donations every day to help meet the needs of patients across the state.
Whether you’ve been donating for years or are ready to give for the first time, there’s no better time to roll up your sleeve and celebrate with us!

As we celebrate 47 years of saving lives, we invite you to be part of the next chapter.
Give Blood. Keep Life Going for the moments that matter.
